Are you happy?
Have you learned to take control of your life instead of living for other people? Do you wake up, eager to embrace whatever the day presents? Have you let go of any anger, resentment and shame that might have harboured inside you growing up? And have you chosen to forgive what your ego has interpreted has a hurt against you- in essence,  have you forgiven yourself? Can you say that you have come to accept and maybe even like yourself?
Tough questions? They were for me at one time. I struggled to get notice in a male hierarchical Italian houshold with an emotionally unavailable mother. My belief growing up was that I was unloveable and I was to blame for everything wrong that happend in the household. I carried a sense of shame about my worth from childhood into adulthood and it reflected in my choices: tried running away first at age 5, then in my teens after nights on drugs. I got kicked out of high school at 16; got pregnant at 20 to an Italian man that cheated on me with my best friend. I struggled in my first year of College in the Child & Youth Worker program and under the advisement of my professor, I started counselling because I was told I couldn't help others until I help myself first. It has taken a lot of tears and a lot of letting go of beliefs that didn't serve me anymore. It took me 20 years to get to a space where I said "ENOUGH"! and it took another 20 years to look at my stuff, go through the process of healing my wounds and then move forward in trust and love. I am now married to my soul mate of over 15 years, our family has grown to a healthy and vibrant 6, and I've made peace with my Mom, even enjoying interesting, healing talks. I don't want it to take you 20 years to heal your hurts, trust yourself and find true love. If you're looking for a way out of the woundedness that is holding you back from truly living a life of contentment and joy, then let me show you how you can find that freedom within your own heart. Let today be the day that you say, "ENOUGH"! I'm releasing the Greatness within!

P.S. you are fabulous!

On a more professional note, my background is in cooking; I graduated from Culinary Arts, worked under a chef but then moved away from the industrial kitchen to non-profit community kitchens. I went back to school and enrolled in the Recreation & Leisure Services Program; upon graduation, I started a business called Active Soul in which a Woman's Adventure Club formed. I have always been on a spiritual journey of self-discovery and wanted to offer something more wholistic so I went to California for some coach training and I started to incorporate workshops into the mix.
A few years ago, I started a catering company called 'Simplicity"; I learnt how to cook for large and small groups with ease and I prepared healthy meals to go. For over a year, I have worked for a non-profit health centre in which I started up cooking classes, working with the dietician, as well as Wellness In the Kitchen. I also introduced a pilot project called The Circle of Life Health & Wellness Coaching Process which has now become part of the programming. This was the first time men were part of the programming and us ladies had to admit that we appreciated the energy and insights that they brought to the group.
I stand for simplicity, community building, honesty, self-discovery, and learning in the moment. I so look forward to joining you on your journey to wellness.

Take care.
